This is not your typical Chinese novel. Instead of having arrogant young masters, people bullying the lesser off protagonist, or face slapping, it is instead a sweet and fluffy novel where the main character is optimistic and hard working, and is helped by the side characters, who are all friendly and supportive! To be hinest, I personally had a rough time getting into this novel, BUT, am I glad I stuck with it! A cute tale of mystical powers and powerful people. Although at times the story veers to a 'comedic' route it's all around a decent read.
