"You have lost. Now your life is forfeit." The voice returned. I didn't even turn to look for it, I couldn't, I shouldn't. The flame on each candle grew brighter, smoke and flame began to swirl around me. "You will be punished accordingly." Accordingly? What did that mean? "You have lost the game, but played no tricks. Pretty good read so far. I was hooked from the very first chapter. The characters surely bring this story to life in a very relatable comedic way. Can’t wait to read more.

As expected from Sandkastle, this book, like her others, is also really good. I love how Zeno is unsuccessfully trying to be unsuccessful—literally failing at failing. I also enjoy the ironic remarks that reflect real-world moments, as well as the funny, offbeat details that aren't directly related to the plot but add to the charm. Her writing style continues to captivate me, blending humor with insightful observations. I can’t wait for the upcoming chapters!
