This is a refreshing story that downplays its system while delivering an amazing narrative. Top quality reading that focus heavily on medicines and farming. I was turned off by the modern setting at first. However this is a really nice book.Good read with a flowing  and enjoyable story. Have only read to chapter 19; even if the story slows down in the future the early chapters are worth a read. This books story is focusing on daily life, system, cultivation, medicine, farming, powerful people interested in mc, poor money management, lying, low violence, fast paced story for mundane things.Ps If your looking for the next face slapping war monger your probably in the wrong place.

I don't know if its just me but I kinda skim through the chapters rather quickly? but everything else so far in the novel has been truly amazing and its like one of my most favourite novels so far as its everything I love turned into one thing (Apocalypse, FPS, Base Building,Zombies and Leveling/stats.) also the character has some good stuff and is about to get even better things, but it still doesn't feel like its an OP thing that makes him invincible, along with the fact he seems like an actual thinking person, not a whiney teenage otaku or nationalistic grandpa. Combined with what in the future is going to be guns plus martial arts is awesome and I cant wait for it to happen.

This is an entertaining novel about transported to a world of a gatcha game. While not the most original presentation it does its job pretty well. If you like basebuilding/management style games and novels this one is pretty solid. There's a touch of fanservice/ harem aspect but nothing too ero. While the MC has advantages from his game-like system he's facing plenty of problems so there's a solid sense of ******* and struggle to his budding power. I did notice a couple of minor translation oddities in places. Additionally, the characters are fine overall, but the main girls are a little flat and overly subservient currently so most of them don't stand on their own as characters.
