MC is an impressive girl, she's the driving force in the relationship. ML should address her as his wife, indeed. All the characters were entertaining, especially the little prince, who was just adorable. Harry's character had a complex demeanor, and Uncle Lu seemed to hold a prominent position. Although the plot might have been a bit unclear, I must admit I really liked Li Che (the original ML). Despite facing challenges with a murder case and an assisting homicide on his record, stemming from his abusive upbringing and MC's adoptive father's mistreatment, he chose to defy his past and follow the rules of the world. Through determination and excellent people skills, he managed to amass wealth, which I find inspiring in stories of self-made entrepreneurs.

The sibling dynamic is hilarious, what a comedy goldmine! Furthermore, the plot stands out as unconventional due to the reversed roles, with the female lead (FL) taking charge and the male lead (ML) displaying a charming vulnerability.

The plot of the novel, if there is one, is extremely shallow. The premise revolves around the protagonist being inside a book and having dreamed its events. However, the narrative inconsistencies are glaring - she wakes up not knowing her own parents, despite her 'tough' character being consistently portrayed throughout the story as if to remind readers. It's hard to accept that this same person suddenly becomes a lovesick,傻白甜 who commits suicide over unrequited love in the novel.

The disconnect between the character development is significant. It's difficult to empathize with Lu Wan, unless one identifies with the idea of being "unlike other girls," perhaps a sentiment aimed at appealing to a certain audience.

The author's portrayal of the original story as a dark drama and the original female lead as a complex character seems hypocritical, as they then turn Lu Wan into an even more exaggerated Mary Sue, which comes across as ironic and unbelievable.

The main characters, though not the central focus, bring their own charm to the story - particularly the cool and attractive female lead, whose sensible nature will surely win readers' hearts, as many find her captivating.

The male lead is a patient and enigmatic figure, quiet yet cunning in his approach. Supporting characters include doting, somewhat clueless parents, a popular idol sibling, a playboy cousin, a wealthy and influential uncle, a gay friend, and rival classmates vying for the protagonist's affection, including a childhood friend and a love interest.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, and I express my gratitude to the translator for their hard work. I hope the translation continues, as I look forward to more chapters.

One of the standout qualities of this novel is its absence of angsty drama, which sets it apart from many typical Chinese fiction that often rely on intense conflict. The writing style is幽默, but unfortunately, that humor can become monotonous at times. The plot remains straightforward and light-hearted throughout.

The protagonist consistently avoids being a mere supporting character, triumphantly achieving their goal. It's worth noting that, while the romantic relationship between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML) is present, the novel shines more in depicting the deep affection of the MC's older brother, who dotes on his sibling in a unique way. After an emotionally charged read, this book serves as a refreshing choice for a mental break. I would recommend it.
