Return to the Pinnacle of Figure Skating [Competitive]

Cheng Cheng is a figure skating coach for the B City provincial team who has grown cynical about his job after years of fruitless talent scouting at commercial ice rinks. During one of his seventh visits to Xishuang Ice Rink in a single week, he encounters his former colleague Wang Li Lin, who claims to have discovered an exceptionally gifted young skater. Intrigued despite his skepticism, Cheng Cheng agrees to investigate and discovers Qiao Nan, a six-and-a-half-year-old girl training under retired legendary coach Marlon Connor. Qiao Nan possesses remarkable technical ability for her age, landing four different double jumps with impressive coordination, though she suffers from poor stamina due to premature birth. She has been reborn into this world with memories of her past life, where she died after a career-ending Achilles tendon injury while competing at the national level. In this lifetime, she is the daughter of a wealthy family and trains with Marlon, who is preparing her for her first competition at the Volin Memorial in Russia.

Qiao Nan has a dormant system called the Chinese Culture System, which she binds to after it offers her a mission to improve her physical strength and promote a Chinese song internationally. The system assigns her a novice mission: to achieve at least a C-grade rating in influence by performing her program to an audience of at least one thousand people. Through a series of coincidences, Qiao Nan chooses "Jasmine Flower" as her competition piece, which aligns with the system's requirements. After discovering that Cheng Cheng is facing layoffs from the provincial team due to lack of notable talent, she offers him a deal: if he agrees to coach her, she will help secure his position. Cheng Cheng, recognizing her potential despite her young age, accepts and accompanies her to Moscow for the Volin Memorial competition.

Upon arriving in Moscow, Qiao Nan meets Aurora Ivanova, a Russian skater and student of Coach Wright, who becomes her friend and provides information about her competitors, including Park Jin-Ah from Korea, who is considered a top contender. Qiao Nan practices at the Garcia rink, where Marlon and Wright discuss her potential. Despite her coach's warnings that she is there primarily for experience rather than medals, Qiao Nan is determined to perform well. She falls ill with a fever the night before her competition but recovers enough to compete. At the event, she encounters Park Jin-Ah, who mocks her for not recognizing her and reveals her own competitive ambitions. During the competition, Qiao Nan watches Elena from Russia skate a technically difficult program that scores moderately due to artistic shortcomings. Qiao Nan is scheduled to perform second in her group, facing competitors who have been training longer and possess more experience, setting the stage for her first international competition where she must prove herself against established young skaters from around the world.
