Despite her initial fear, Cen Wu found herself in a loving, albeit eccentric, household. She quickly discovered that her new father, Xie Yuanchuan, possessed a powerful Healing Ability, and her new brother, Cen Yuxing, had a split personality. The dominant personality, Luke, was cold and aloof, while the secondary personality, Cen Yuxing, was gentle and protective. Lu Wu’s Plunder ability activated after killing a dwarf who had threatened her, granting her Absolute Strength, which allowed her physical power to increase without limit.

As the Cen family prepared for the upcoming Year of Dense Fog and the subsequent Year of Extreme Heat, Lu Wu used her knowledge from her past life to urge them to stockpile resources. The family, consisting of monsters in human form, accepted her warnings and began hunting and gathering supplies. During a hunting trip, Lu Wu and Luke were separated from their mother and attacked by mutated jackals. Luke protected Lu Wu, and after she was injured by a mutated snake, she desperately tried to suck out the poison, revealing her deepening attachment to her new family. Luke, though outwardly cold, carried the feverish Lu Wu back to safety, solidifying their bond as siblings.

The family eventually moved to Base No. 18, where they reunited with their eldest daughter, who commanded respect and fear. Lu Wu continued to grow stronger, utilizing her Absolute Strength and Plunder ability to hunt and survive. She maintained a close relationship with her new parents and brothers, finding the warmth and security she had been denied by her biological family. The story follows her adaptation to this new life as she prepares for the catastrophic natural disasters ahead, relying on her unique abilities and the support of her unconventional but loving family to endure the apocalypse.
