Rebirth: The Chancellor Becomes a Cat Dad

Song Suiyuan is a reborn individual who previously served as a high-ranking official in the Great Chu dynasty, only to witness the collapse of the empire due to the incompetence of the new emperor and the treachery of powerful factions. Having died with regrets, he returns to his youth with the intention of avoiding the court and living a carefree life. This move weakens the Wei family's influence and secures the Crown Prince's position, aligning with Song Suiyuan's strategic goals. Meanwhile, Song Suiyuan's own life takes a chaotic turn when he visits Liuxiang Pavilion, a famous entertainment district, where he encounters Shi Wan, a courtesan who attempts to seduce him using aphrodisiac wine. Unaware of the wine's effects, Song Suiyuan becomes intoxicated and experiences a vivid dream in which he engages in an intimate encounter with a mysterious young man who bites and scratches him.

Upon waking, Song Suiyuan discovers physical marks on his body and realizes the encounter was not a dream. He launches an investigation to identify the stranger, who is revealed to be Yun Xiu in human form. Yun Xiu, having transformed into a human to drink the remaining wine, accidentally enters Song Suiyuan's room and initiates the encounter. He remains committed to guiding Zhou Mingyan toward a prosperous reign while keeping himself at a distance from the center of power.
