**Rebirth: Counterattack of the Apocalypse**

Shen Biqian, a university student, experiences a nightmare in which she and her classmate Su Jianmo are hunted by demonic beasts during an apocalypse. After Su Jianmo dies protecting her, she awakens to find herself back in her dormitory on June 28th, seven days before the disaster begins. They are rescued by Mu Ranzhu, Bai Xue, and Li Nan, a group of powerful awakened ability users who have been defending the campus. After the military arrives to evacuate survivors, Shen Biqian decides to return home with Su Jianmo, determined to avoid the fate that killed them in her previous life. Their journey is interrupted by a group of bandits led by a woman named Sister Li, who are also awakened ability users. In the past, Shen Biqian and Su Jianmo had surrendered their vehicle to these criminals, leading to their deaths. This time, Su Jianmo refuses to yield, and Shen Biqian uses her cultivation skills to subdue Sister Li while Su Jianmo fights the remaining attackers.

The conflict with the bandits reveals the heightened dangers of the new world, where ordinary criminals have also gained supernatural abilities.
