Primodial Era: What’s Wrong with the Bunny Costume, Why is Tongtian Staring?

Xihe, a transmigrated bunny demon from a later era, awakens in the Primordial World as the Taiyin Goddess. She shares her origin with her younger sister Changxi, both formed from the right eye of the creator Pangu. Unlike the legendary Xihe, the actual Changxi suffers from a primordial deficiency, unable to take human form. Aware of the impending Witch-Demon Tribulation that will destroy both the Witch and Demon clans, Xihe resolves to survive and alter their fates. She binds herself to the "Acting Cool to Become Saint System," which tasks her with seizing one of the six prayer mats at Hongjun's upcoming lecture in the Purple Heaven Palace. The stakes are absolute: success grants her the Twelve-petaled Pure World White Lotus and a Taiyin Law Fragment, while failure reverts her to a mortal rabbit.

Xihe accelerates her cultivation using an experience card and journeys to the Purple Heaven Palace. Along the way, she encounters the Golden Crow brothers, Dijun and Taiyi, who disdain Changxi’s deficiency. At the lecture, Xihe witnesses the legendary struggle for the prayer mats. When the Western monks Jieyin and Zhunti arrive late and feign despair, the kind-hearted Hongyun voluntarily yields his seat. Zhunti then manipulates Kunpeng into surrendering his mat under the guise of propriety. Seizing the moment, Xihe claims the empty seat, shocking the assembled Taiyi Golden Immortals. During the lecture, she breaks through to Taiyi Golden Immortal, drawing envy and suspicion. She later repels the Golden Crows and Western cultivators with the power of the White Lotus, establishing herself as a formidable and unpredictable figure.

After the lecture, Tongtian, one of the Three Pure Ones, pursues Xihe, intrigued by her strength and character. He attempts to steal leaves from her Moon Cassia Tree to aid his brothers. Xihe outsmarts him by luring him into a trap set by the Ancestral Witch Zhurong, retrieving her property in the process. Their interactions continue as Tongtian follows her, leading to a misunderstanding where Tongtian’s sword infiltrates her consciousness. Xihe seizes his Green Lotus Sword as compensation, forcing Tongtian to offer a Yellow Center Plum fruit in exchange. She accepts, breaking through to Taiyi perfection. Later, she rescues Hongyun and Zhenyuanzi from Kunpeng’s vengeance, using spatial laws and the Fire Spirit Pearl to protect them. Her bold actions earn her the Primordial Measuring Ruler, a treasure that hides her from heavenly scrutiny.

During the third lecture, Hongjun offers Xihe a place as his personal disciple due to her awakening of the Great Dao Double Pupils. The system commands her to refuse, promising the Heaven-Suppressing Coffin as a reward. Xihe declines, angering the assembly. Pursued by Kunpeng, Jieyin, and Zhunti, she is saved by the intervention of Dijiang’s spatial imprint, which she had previously triggered. The coffin protects her, transporting her to the East Sea where she cultivates for thirty thousand years, reaching the Daluo realm. She aids the Dragon Clan, giving Ancestral Dragon essence blood to Ao Bing and Ao Ling, and sends Ao Ling to join Tongtian’s Jie Sect. Upon returning to Taiyin Star, she finds Changxi dying. Changxi reveals she needs the Twelve-Grade World-Destroying Black Lotus to survive. Xihe sets out for the West, planning to spread the teachings of the Path of Yin and Yang to sweep through the region and obtain the necessary treasure, continuing her path of defying fate.
