It had been the same before when ZiFeng 'politely' fed her that bowl of soup. She was obviously forcing her, but the little girl's words and actions couldn't be called rude or disrespectful in any way and she wore a smile the whole time. It was somewhat frightening.

The story has too many filler chapters that we could care less about, after chapter 100 we get the pov of different dragons and it’s honestly annoying and complicated to try and connect everything to together

great world building and the update schedule has definitely been really nice. the writing is pretty solid, and i really REALLY like the atmosphere of the book. def recommend!
