Unable to find new work elsewhere due to my tarnished image I continued a deranged lifestyle for a few months.

I became fascinated with their magic which seemingly a part of them. As expected of a magical creature.

Lance hacked down with his sword, Zen quickly jumped back. The floor exploded after being hit, Lance quickly followed and now it was his turn to pressure Zen.

So what's wrong with taking the back streets?

The Japanese setting is there but not enough to warrant being immense in myself to it, I think more research it required, felt very surface level. The story itself is a bit different to your average system concept as the mc defies his fate instead of following the typical route which i find it interesting.decent start but worldbuilding needs to imporve.
