It's crucial to note that Lucas and Luo Ran did not have a secret relationship years ago; they were at the cabin because Lucas' mental health was fragile, necessitating Luo Ran's pheromones for support. However, an unfortunate accident led to both of them losing their memory of that period.

The story begins with Lucas seeking out his one-night stand, who turns out to be Luo Ran. As they investigate together, they uncover various revelations. One notable scene involves Lucas pretending not to care about Luo Ran early on in their partnership. However, when Luo Ran faced a potential assault (MTL might have been ambiguous), Lucas swiftly intervened and defended him. This incident prompted him to teach Luo Ran self-defense.
