Li Wanbai boards a flight at age eighteen and awakens ten years in the future, finding herself in a private hospital suite with no memory of the intervening decade. The man sitting by her bedside is Yu Baichuan, her university crush, now her husband who presents her with a signed divorce agreement. He speaks with bitterness about being discarded, while Li Wanbai is bewildered by the sudden marriage and impending divorce. The story follows Li Wanbai's navigation of her new identity as a famous actress while trying to rebuild her relationship with Yu Baichuan and uncover what truly happened during the ten years she missed.
