The only remotely engaging aspects were the zombie hierarchy progression and the world-building, but these didn't compensate for the unbearable nature of the MC's presence. In summary, if you enjoy stories that disregard moral complexities and have no standards for character growth, you might find this entertaining. However, if you prefer a higher quality reading experience, I suggest exploring other options.

If ever I have some spare time, I might push through and read up to the latest release, then provide a more current review.

I'm discontinuing my read, and since I've only reached halfway, I'll reluctantly give it 3 stars despite it not reflecting my honest opinion. The concept of the novel sounds intriguing – an MC with a 'control' power and zombie girlfriends for adventures. However, the execution falls flat.

The main character is portrayed as weak, which might make sense given the focus on the girls, but he often recklessly confronts enemies without them, treating them more like expendable weapons. The MC's character is inconsistent, vacillating between putting himself first and showing concern for others, only to revert back. The power dynamics are unclear; the author fails to establish a proper hierarchy, leading to sudden plot twists where seemingly unbeatable foes escape.

The world-building suffers from poor logic. The author overlooks the fact that zombies grow by consuming others, which should affect their numbers. Instead, high-level zombies keep appearing randomly, while the MC faces constant obstacles due to excessive zombie density.

There was a particular incident where the MC made absurd choices solely to fulfill a romantic subplot. This was the final straw for me; the plot seemed to serve the author's convenience rather than telling a coherent story. With over 1300 chapters, I couldn't justify continuing. One star, and I'd advise others to avoid this.
