Kai, from the Sorcerer's Tower, is among the last surviving mages in a world dominated by dark creatures. The age of mages has ended, and most lands are now tainted with dead mana.

To save his world and fulfill his master’s final wish, Kai undergoes a forbidden ritual, risking his soul being torn apart to travel back in time. He aims to reach an era rich in mana — before the Golden Era of Magic began.

Unsurprisingly, things go awry. Instead of arriving at his intended destination, he finds himself thousands of years earlier, inhabiting the body of a young lord named Arzan. Complications arise as Arzan was murdered, and Kai must deal with immediate threats like beast waves while protecting his territory. Additionally, he must regain his former power in a world where magic and technology are primitive.

Perhaps he can change this primitive state.
