Peter Grayson didn't know what his relationship with Leight is, if any. So, it's become the detectiv Leight's duty to woo his partner, solving cases and evade the killer out to get him.
this is like reading the bl version of sherlock holmes. but of course this is different because Leight is a romantic, and often speak his feeling clearly.

I am shocked I read as much as I did; I should have gave up. The writing lacks structure, proper grammar, and is overall too confusing. I had to guess what the author really meant at least once per chapter. The comments at the end of each chapter are incredibly annoying.
I had a theory, what if Cor and Sal were twin, some how Cor really married to Ash, but the evil sal was Swapping Cor and pretend he was Cor, that explain why Ash sai \"sal changed after they got married\" also Cor asked Ash why couldnt she realized her own husband
