Absolute trash. The same useless trope, the same useless "warlord" who takes 100 chapters just to do a simple thing. Genuinely trash, so trash.

Initially thought that this would be a promising read, but disappointment comes easily.
I think many things could have been handled with greater wisdom and intellect. Lots of misunderstandings brought about by the initial situation he already is in when we start the story - but there seems to be little to no attempt at any communication or reconciliation thus far (trial read). All parties are hot-blooded (but it's military, so ok I guess), but could be more military-esque by going through certain channels and utilizing certain resources.
It's a hot mess of a situation and a hot mess of an MC. Violence seems to be the only answer, and it doesn't solve the root of problems.

Holy. This is a story about an absolute idiot. He fully believes serving 3 years in maximum security prison, and being framed as a terrorist by his leadership is all part of his grand mission. To his utter surprise after 3 years half his family is dead, his name is tarnished and his little sister is about to trafficked into a prostitution ring. Even still, he's apparently the 'invincible lord' who is the height of personal power and supreme intelligence in the world. What kind of plot is this? What kind of protagonist is this?

The exploration of power, morality, and the human condition resonated profoundly, making it a thought-provoking read that lingered long after the last chapter. A must-read for those who crave immersive storytelling and profound character development.
