Karina wants to die.
When she learns that her family sold her off to marry a man more than twice her age, after everything she has already endured for the sake of her family, death seems like an easy way out. Her decision is final –– she will die on her wedding night.
But before she can deliver her final blow, she wants to have something of her own. That is why, already engaged, she sells her virginity to a stranger at a hotel so that she can at least have one nice memory before she dies.
Later on, however, she realizes that the man she mistook for a male escort was a very important and politically dangerous figure, and their one-night stand was not a mere coincidence, but a carefully crafted plan.
And Karina cannot tell whether this man wants to ruin her life or save her.
