After a series of alarms, sirens, and nuclear warnings, Kai awakens in an empty white room. Unsure of what to do, he waits for something—anything—to happen, hoping for a break in the monotony. Only when an enigmatic voice disrupts his isolated existence does he realize the challenges he must confront just to survive.
Note: The initial chapters are slow, monotonous, and admittedly rough. Even revisiting chapter three makes me cringe. My writing improves as the story progresses, though it still contains some info dumps. The first few chapters are notably shorter; for instance, chapter 30 is as long as chapters 1, 2, and part of chapter 3 combined. Honestly, you can skim through the first five chapters and then delve deeper into the rest. Thanks, and please be gentle with the early chapters—I already dislike them.
New chapters will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
