Now then the question, we leave a few hours later than the original, so what's going to happen...

It's a short story that ties in with my main story here.I've read a few reinc and transmig -stories. Enjoyed the shenanigans and drama, but after a while I had this nagging thought about what would happen in the world the main characters usually ditch in chapter one.This is my take on the pain and loss, and for that reason this story is complete with what I hope is a genunine feeling of desolation.And thanks for the comment :D

In the center of the city of Dycoom, there stood the town hall where a big ceremony was being held. Ten years had passed and it was once again time to pick the two children. Inside the town hall, hundreds of woman with their six-year-old children that were born on that specific week were all standing around and waiting for their turn.

The last calls and messages were from the last person she wanted to hear from right now: Ning Kuo.

Demon Hunters were stronger and faster and better than normal hunters, with faster healing due to Immortal Demon Blood in their veins (Something shared with Demon Kings and True Devils). These were Hunters who'd performed a ritual that granted the Hunter immortality: tearing out their heart and implanting it in a bond animal. Reciting a verse of blessings and curses in an oath of service completed the ritual.

Mao Yin was struck dumb at this question. "I-I don't know."

He wanted power.
