Lol, it's like a majority of plots have the phase where MC gets pummeled needlessly, when in realistic scenario, things would never escalate to that degree.

Just based on the premise, MC was only given 5 years or something to awaken his powers? It probably has something to do with when he should normally awaken his talent. Anyhow, why so ruthless? Politics can be brutal, but not to that degree.

Its as if authors dont want to waste time on the setuo and get into the point. So they end up just coming with silly gore.

Politics can be cruel. My prime minister sues his own citizens, with various govt entities including the judges in court under his paycheck, in cahoots. Obviously controlled news not reporting, and ignorant people still vote him in elections. Even the so-called democratic elections are highly likely to be rigged. etc etc
