Shen Meng, a modern office worker, experiences a life-altering turn of events after visiting a fraudulent fortune teller who sells her an "888 Bad Luck Cleansing Package." Although she briefly lands a lucrative contract, she is subsequently involved in a severe car accident that leaves her with significant financial compensation but also results in the surgical removal of her uterus. Following the accident, Shen Meng begins experiencing vivid dreams in which she lives the life of a woman named Shen Meng in a past era, married to a soldier with three children and facing a miserable, tragic fate.
