I've been binge-reading a lot ofBL dungeon webcomics lately, and this one is actually one of the few that hasn't disappointed me. However, I can't help wishing for a more natural translation; the current MTL version loses quite a bit of the story's depth and humor. The main character's thoughts are captivating, and his self-analysis is ruthless. It's evident from the beginning that he acts solely for his own benefit, which leads to amusing misinterpretations. The harem aspect feels somewhat forced at times, bordering on absurd, but each member brings their unique charm, so I still find it enjoyable. For now, I'll take a break, hoping for a licensed English edition or perhaps an official manhwa adaptation in the future.

I genuinely adore this novel! The protagonist isn't your typical hunter or healer; instead, he's a talented potion-maker with unexpected abilities. His intelligence prevents him from being a helpless damsel, yet people can't help but look out for him, treating him with care and respect. The misunderstandings throughout the story are hilarious, bringing me back to another beloved novel, 'LCF.' Initially, it's all light-hearted comedy, but as the plot unfolds, we delve deeper into the MC's intriguing backstory.

The narrative felt somewhat平淡 and unengaging. It contained numerous clichés and miscommunications, which were tolerable to an extent, but ultimately, the plot lacked substance and excitement. The pacing was sluggish, with few events to captivate the reader's interest. Despite making an effort to continue, I regrettably find myself unable to proceed with the book, and I believe it's time to set it aside.

I really enjoy the story, particularly for its relatable protagonist who is weak and often misunderstood. The main character, MC, displays remarkable composure throughout, despite his possession issue. He faces challenges rationally rather than panicking.

The harem tag applies because there isn't a designated main love interest; multiple characters express deep affection and develop a possessive nature towards MC. Four significant male leads have interacted closely with him, creating a dynamic around him.

Regarding the story quality, the Korean translation might not be as polished as Chinese, making it challenging to follow at times. Despite that, I persevered due to the engaging character interactions and the MLs' efforts to care for MC. In the narrative, MC is revered as a saint or hero by his guildmates and medical staff, though he frequently encounters danger (out of 65 chapters, fewer than 20 took place outside the hospital). He's cautious because he has a hidden enemy from his past, but since he doesn't retain the original body's memories, he must be vigilant against potential threats.

Here's a brief description of the MLs:

In summary, the story is fantastic, but if you prefer a smoother reading experience, it's recommended to wait for an English translation, which would offer a more comprehensible version.

I appreciate the story's appeal, but the translation quality is quite rough, which might discourage readers. I sincerely hope the translator improves, as I don't want others to abandon it due to the difficulty. It would be a shame if the translator discontinued the project. The main character reminds me of Count Tr*sh from another tale, misunderstood yet resilient in overcoming his circumstances. So far, it's a light-hearted harem narrative where the male leads simply recognize the MC's value in enhancing their lives. The emotional dynamics between them remain ambiguous, but thankfully, there's no hint of toxic relationships, which is a positive aspect.

Typically, I strive to complete a book until its conclusion, but with this one, I struggle to keep going. The concept is intriguing, but the lack of conflict or a clear, compelling goal prevents me from getting fully immersed. There's action, yes, as the main character (MC) and love interests (MLs) take action, but it feels aimless.

The structure and world-building could use improvement. The author effectively introduces the setting and characters, but there aren't enough vivid descriptions to give me a sense of the story's progression. Scene transitions are sometimes unclear, making it difficult to follow along. The focus seems to be more on developing the lore rather than the immediate events.

What I do enjoy are the interactions between the MC and the MLs – their absurd situations and the MC's exasperation provide some comic relief. However, this isn't enough to compensate for the lack of plot momentum, especially when attempting to establish potential relationships. It feels forced and disconnected.

Despite these issues, I might consider giving this book another chance. After all, I find the concept appealing, and I'm hoping that future chapters might address these shortcomings.

The translation is quite good, and I really enjoy it. My favorite character is the psychopathic healer; they're always an entertaining read. Just a heads up, the first ten chapters might be a bit rough due to the initial machine translation that was later improved. There are some confusing parts, particularly in Chapter 5, but overall, you can grasp the main idea. If you can push through those early chapters, the translation quality significantly improves as the translator gains confidence.

So, don't let the initial translation deter you; you'll miss out on a fantastic novel. Even the less polished translations are better than many others I've come across, which lack coherence. The translator clearly put a lot of effort into it.

This story revolves around brocon themes, so if you're not a fan of obsessive and slightly unhinged characters, it might not be your cup of tea. All the characters are eccentric, including the protagonist, who may seem composed but isn't. He's not possessive or psychopathic, but he's definitely irrational and bold.

One aspect that adds to the fun is the constant deception among the characters; everyone lies to each other, making honest moments particularly special, even when they're still not entirely truthful.

While it's an enjoyable read, don't expect profound themes or groundbreaking social commentary. It's entertaining and keeps you engaged. If you seek deep political intrigue or social justice symbolism, you might be disappointed.

The story centers on a man who, despite his efforts to escape his past, finds himself increasingly entangled with a found family. Despite his struggles, it turns out to be beneficial for him, despite his protests about the cozy life he's led.

There's a balance of angst and humor in the story, which enhances the overall experience. It's not all lighthearted, and the emotional moments are handled well, contributing to the novel's balanced tone.

In summary, I highly recommend this book. I'm quite enamored with it myself.
