In a world where heroes are the last line of defence against threats, A 17-year-old Zane Skylark a.k.a. [Hope] was the most powerful of them all—a symbol of strength and justice. Known as the "Rank–1 Hero, [Hope]" Zane's every move was watched by the masses, and his victories were legendary. But during a mission, Zane is believed to have died, only to survive due to an unknown skill—[Immortality].
For 60 long days, Zane's body remains in stasis, as the [Hero Association] declares him dead. In an effort to not cause public uproar, they appoint a new hero who can mimic Zane’s strength under his hero-name [Hope], while the world moves on without him.
When Zane finally resurrected, he finds himself dangle between his past as a 'Rank–1 Hero' and his desire to live a normal life. Choosing to distance himself from the [Hero Association], he decided to returns to his hometown, hoping to bury his past and lead a peaceful existence.
But… can a hero truly abandon their destiny? Or will new challenges and tragedies force Zane to confront his past self and the responsibilities he has left behind?
