Huo Ning, a master of the mystical arts from another world, transmigrates into the body of a young woman in Jiang City. The confrontation reveals a complex web of deceit: Zhou Man was murdered by Yu Qingxue, the wife of the man Zhou Man was having an affair with, based on doctored photos fabricated by a jealous colleague, Wu Xin. Song Tingting, a former fan of celebrity Zheng Yunfan, reveals that she was forced by Wu Xin to harm Zhou Man and later sought to possess Lin Shuangshuang as part of a scheme to get close to Zheng Yunfan for revenge, believing he was involved in her downfall.

As the truth unravels, the livestream audience witnesses the supernatural events in real-time, shifting from skepticism to terrified belief. The ghosts, empowered by their revealed injustices, begin to transform into wrathful entities. Zhou Man, enraged by the revelation of her murder, vows to kill those responsible, while Song Tingting begs Huo Ning for help to exact revenge on Zheng Yunfan, claiming he ruined her life.
