I Run a Farm in the Apocalypse

Lin Yu, a survivor of a catastrophic apocalypse, dies at the hands of her trusted roommate Bai Yanyan, who frames her for theft and sacrifices her to a zombie horde. Understanding the strategic value of his future leadership and his awakened lightning ability, she chooses to save him, forming a cooperative alliance. The group’s early journey is marked by violent encounters with zombies and the harsh realities of human nature. In a supermarket, they face a mob of survivors who attempt to extort them, demanding to be taken along or threatening legal retribution. Lin Yu demonstrates her ruthless pragmatism by nearly running over a woman blocking their vehicle, establishing that the old world’s laws no longer apply. During these encounters, Lin Yu discovers that her water ability can conduct Pei Yan’s lightning, creating a highly effective area-of-effect attack that decimates zombie hordes.
