When Shen Jinghan and Yue Lin fell in love, she was only 18. At that time, her studies were going well, her family was harmonious, and she was innocent and carefree.

Yue Lin loved her, protected her, and spoiled her as if she were a little princess.

But then Yue Lin died. Her world turned upside down.

Leaning against his gravestone, she hugged it tightly as she used to hug him and softly whispered, “Now that you’re gone, the whole world is bullying me.”

At 26, Shen Jinghan met a man who looked exactly like Yue Lin.

But he liked foods Yue Lin didn’t, wasn’t afraid of heights, and could swim.

Shen Jinghan felt disappointed.

This wasn’t him.

One night, overwhelmed by longing, Shen Jinghan got drunk.

The man pulled her into his arms, kissed her gently on the forehead, and looked at her with tender eyes.

“Don’t you recognize me?”

I’m back. I’m here to protect you.

But defeating the memory of the man I used to be…
Turns out it’s the hardest battle of all.

Very basic beginning, but that's fine. What isn't is the Gary Sue MC who has no emotional baggage despite being traumatized at 12, constantly bullied, and oh, trains with no goal or motivation, not even sadness or to escape from his predicament. You know the guy who at 15 looks all muscular because his parent casually mentioned excercise once, the guy who never hurts anyone because "good guy is lawful good, not hormonal teenager," and of course, is always upbeat.

Amazing. This book makes a lot of points. Great character qualities and a very good plotted story. I liked how every paragraph is worded just enough. I enjoyed it.

This really heavily reminds me of an anime which ig the author is going for and its nice to see that. The story is cute and I can see in my mind how it unfolds! The characters are also adorable! There are grammarical mistake and switches between past and present tense, author should settle for one tense. I also think its not really necessary to describe their appearances, we need a bit info about them but going too much into detail is superfluous. I get it tries to go with the anime trope but in a novel or even a light novel, its not really common (correct me tho if im wrong)This would make a good manga tbh! It would be even cooler if it could be a shounen, if you think managing idols and shounen doesnt fit, i highly recommend act age where the mangaka makes striving to become an actress so damn hype.Have you read light novels? I'd suggest looking at them to see how those authors wrote them, although a lot say japanese light novels are trash lolAll in all, its a nice, light-hearted story and I hope the author will continue their hard work!
