To summarize my thoughts: The novel seems to be an overly self-indulgent account of the author's college days, attempting to convey confidence and happiness amidst action. The emphasis on the protagonist's outlook and attitude feels forced within an action genre, and the integration of fantastical elements, such as special abilities, is half-hearted and unsatisfying. It's hard to believe that the main character doesn't know how to exploit any opportunity for wealth or power, like the stock market or a secret formula, given their supposed omniscience. If the author wants to write a college-themed story, they should focus on drama rather than trying to shoehorn these elements in awkwardly.

The foundation is solid, and I enjoy the action and combat system, which is creatively designed. However, there are two significant issues:

1) The interactions between characters often come across as稚嫩、尴尬, and somewhat clumsy in their execution.

2) The pacing is incredibly slow; despite being 50 chapters deep, the story has only progressed to about one week into the academy.

This novel has its merits, but the pacing is a significant issue. At chapter 35, it's only the first day of school, yet we've devoted the past six chapters to an ongoing fight that doesn't advance the plot at all. The characters simply keep parrying without landing a blow, which has been stretched over an entire chapter – detailing each minor movement and the constant "wow" reactions from onlookers. We've also had lengthy sections devoted to walking through hallways and attending speeches, which feel unnecessarily drawn-out.

Despite reading numerous negative reviews, I decided to give this novel a try. True, the pacing might be slow, but it与众不同 from the typical young adult themes of power, popularity, and material pursuits. This novel caters more to a mature audience, particularly those in the midst of their coming-of-age journey. The protagonist has reached an age where he understands that he isn't exceptional, much like many young adults who enter the workforce and discover their平凡 among others.

What initially captured my interest was the protagonist's determination to rise above his perceived inadequacies. The way he confronts those who belittle him and battles his own self-doubt is where the real gem lies. The emphasis on personal growth and introspection could explain the book's deliberate pace – it's a unique read, appreciated by some as a literary treasure, while others may find it challenging.

Update: Chapters 37 and 38 are nothing short of thrilling – an exhilarating fight sequence that elevates the novel to a whole new level, solidifying its status as a diamond in the literary world.
