I'm late to the party, but I'd HIGHLY recommend Vivid Stars Online. MC doesn't actually get into space for a pretty long time (idk if he's even there yet lol, he wasn't last time I caught up, but he does have a spaceship) but it's quality sci-fi with a bit of psychic powers involved. Mostly the content so far revolves around planetary exploration and a bit of colonization.
I've also heard great things about Dead Star Dockyards, but haven't actually read it myself. So that might be worth looking into if you have the time.
First 50 chapters were hard to make sense of after that it gets better. Also this author takes his sweet time to update the novel im on 4xx chapters in 2 and half years he barely uploaded like 300 chapters although he was writing other novel in that time. But imo story should be near the end probably 800 at max
