An absolutely amazing novel and a breath of fresh air in this site, and should definitely be recommended and picked! The one star reviews are wrong!Here is why,The key is in the name, "My New Life As A Plant In A Cultivation World". This is a SLICE OF LIFE novel with a MONSTER/PLANT PROTAGONIST Setting.The author stays true to this till chapter 60. The novel is basically about the daily life of the mc, and his humorous interactions with all the side characters.And boy oh boy are the characters all fleshed out. Some people here complain that this novel is about the adventures of the white deer (the female protag as of yet) and the mc is just a side kick.Well guess what, that's what having ACTUAL REAL FLESHED OUT characters in a novel other than the mc is all about. The interaction of the mc with the deer, the golden eagle, the spider, and the long faced man give you a sense of immersiveness not found in most other webnovels here. The other seldom tells us viewer information with giant info dump but rather SHOWS them to the reader with nice little interactions of the characters and actual events that move the story forward.So you won't get a boring thesis of an info dump but rather actual scenes in the novel, relevant to the story. Many people read webnovels for instant gratification like crazy power up of the mc with a system, or some gimmick where the mc has to earn points and spend them to power up. These novels mostly fall into the trap where the system itself becomes the pivot of the story. Hence they turn into 'The adventures of a random system with his sidekick host.' Like 'I will add point sot all things, monster paradise etcetc'.This novel however, although having points and power ups does not fall into the same pitfall. The mc is a cultivation addict, however he spends most of the time in novel with other characters, hence nice interactions.It is not a one man show mc novel where he goes out-> slays enemies ->finds treasure->get points -> power up -> rinse and repeat.His intentions in the novel are to get more points, however the author's intention in the novel is to show the readers the hilarity that ensues with the mc and other characters in the mcs point earning endeavors. Did that make sense?All in all, this is not a cultivation suppa stonk mc novel where he constantly beats up enemies against all expectations. This is a Comedy, Slice of Life novel, with in depth character building with Xianxia/wuxia/xuanhaun/cultivation elements.First few chapters make it seem like a run of the mill point collecting cultivation system novel, however it is not. I think that's why this novel has some low rating with people feeling betrayed that this is not a run of the mill xianxia mc cliche novel with constant power ups.Keep reading, keep voting for it. If you want a novel with real character building with real story line, this is for you. You will not regret it. Trust me :DTrust me, this is good.
