Evan was the future CEO of his father's company Heretage Enterprises and was forced by his parents to marry his mother's friend's first daughter after the death of his lover which led him to shut everyone out of his life for 6 months even his parents too.
He hated his arranged wife because she was obsessed with him and when he found out that she was involved in his lover's death he hated her more. But his fate was not with her. He was fated to marry her sister instead and from there the event took a turn.
He was possessive and controlling and hated his wife because of her sister, he was determined to make her life miserable while his wife turned out to be independent and feisty. She hated him thinking that her sister's tragic death was caused and plotted by him.
