Zhane's gaze darted around the shelves as he drew his sidearm and began firing.  He swept one way, past the elevator, killing all the zombies he found, then reversed his path to the opposite end of the balcony.   After securing the second floor, he read the charge indicator on his sidearm.

A good mix of action, emotion, and suspense. Liberty is a strong lead character, and her motivations feel genuine. The plot is interesting, though some twists are easier to see coming. It's a solid read that holds your attention, especially if you’re into stories about uncovering hidden truths.

It's honestly a good story. but it is such a damn slow pace and I don't know the direction of this book going and like now I know that he is trying to reach a city and enter the academy, the lease ? I am in the dark bro but hey like I just said it too slow pace for me so I am gonna drop it for now and wait for the main arce to start.

The protagonist feels real; he's not evil from the beginning, unlike other novels where they get a system and start R*ping or mind-controlling others. This isn't even sexually exploitative, which is good. The character is overpowered, not because of the boring system like every other protagonist who needs to be Sung Jing Woo. This is good. I like the mysterious red-haired girl looking out for Noboru.

All I can ask is: Where was this story back when I was desperately looking for something like it? I remember searching for a book exactly like this back when I was a pure reader. There was simply not enough WELL-WRITTEN babies-in-apocalypse stories in the world! Thank you for writing this.I'm still early in the story, but it's obviously going to be a banger. Anyway, knowing Fairy and her large portfolio of great stories, I'm pretty sure this would be awesome too.Good job Fairy~

The author shows a high level of english literary mastery. This read like a published novel that passed through editors as if it was to be published.This does not read like the typical lazy webnovel and should not be mentioned in te company thereoff.The style may not be to everyone's taste and the references and allusions may pull the readers out of immersion but the writting amd story telling is still excellent.
