Meng Cheng Xian at the end of his life understood his problem was where he was and then became xian. But he did not understand why he was reborn again, moreover in a strange world.
Having come here, he could just stay there. He did not have to be too hasty because his dream had already been fulfilled before he died.
Note: 'xian' can be roughly translated as 'immortal', but for me, it is too general to use the word 'immortal' so I will temporarily use the word 'xian' = '仙'.
