In its place, was the red, glowing outline of a child. Walking through the void, white beasts of light came at it, each one falling in one slice, turning into blood. This blood accumulated at the being, becoming stronger the more it absorbed. Eventually, it met the golden, glowing paladin again. They had a fierce battle, and the paladin was losing. As the last hit was about to be done, the soul stone appeared behind the paladin. Granting it energy in pure, white light, it struck the demonic creature down. It turned into a thick, blood red puddle on the floor, which went to rush inside the paladin. Hitting the paladin, his armor and skin slowly started being corrupted, the golden light fading as the evil spread. As the paladin was struggling against the corruption, the soul stone went next to the paladin. With runes glowing in the void around it, it self-detonated.
