Lin Can awakens in a luxurious bedroom, realizing he has transmigrated into the body of a scumbag character in a danmei novel. The original owner was a gold-digger who married the protagonist, Ran Yang, for money and was in the process of selling private photos of Ran Yang to a rival to ruin his career. Lin Can immediately rejects the blackmail scheme and returns the money to the conspirators, angering them.
