Golochka tends to the ailing Mareeni at night and declines Tusa's offer to assist in exchange for food and lodging, maintaining caution and fearing he may have ulterior motives. Although she eventually accepts Tusa’s help, she still forbids him from approaching Mareeni. Later, Lashande appears, questioning why Golochka cares for his “already dead” daughter, leading to a heated argument, with Lashande threatening to punish her through Lord Bingqishuke. Golochka feels deep guilt, believing she caused Mareeni’s coma, and begins to open up about her inner turmoil during conversations with Tusa.
Subsequently, Lashande tries to seize Golochka’s clinic using his influence, resulting in a public confrontation. After Lashande disappears into the sea fog, rumors circulate about his whereabouts. Over time, Mareeni tragically passes away, and Golochka performs a sea burial for her. In the end, Golochka allows Tusa to move into her clinic, and the two quietly return to their lives.
