First they survived a serial killer in their own barracks. Then they went to the wall against a pre-conflict strike of Soviet Union soldiers attacking them in their own barracks, leaving behind half of their number dead and the survivors of the brutal close quarters combat shell shocked and physically wounded. Criminal Investigation Division, the National Security Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the FBI, and the CIA are all interested in what went on. Accompanying the members of the Alphabet Agencies is the aide of a member of the House Military Affairs Commission and members of the Secret Service. All of them wanted to know what happened. Unfortunately for them, the blood spilled on the mountain in the name of madness and hatred has woken it from its ancient slumber. And it wants more.
