Divorce on the Wedding Night, She Returns, and Mr. Lu Goes Mad

Shi Wan and Lu Xicheng had dated for three years before he returned from studying abroad to propose immediate marriage. Lu Xicheng, now bald and haunted by regret, arrived at her clinic after a car accident. He recognized Shi Wan despite her mask and confronted her, convinced she had faked her death to make him suffer. He accused her of manipulation and refused to believe she no longer loved him. His friends, Qi Jingye and Peng Yu, defended Lin Zaixin and warned Shi Wan to stay away. Lu Xicheng persistently harassed Shi Wan, claiming the world was small and they would inevitably cross paths again. Despite his delusions, Shi Wan remained detached, viewing him as a stranger. The story ends with Lu Xicheng obsessed with uncovering the truth behind her survival, while Shi Wan attempts to build a new life separate from her past.
