The book is much better than expected. I was a little uncertain at first, but now I'm really enjoying it. Max is an interesting character and is calm and logical. I really enjoyed the logical deductions required to solve the first case, which had happened over six months in the past, and most of the evidence was gone. Unfortunately, there are some grammar and punctuation issues, but most do not detract from the story.
