The book as a whole is nice but to me it's exercise in frustration and don't tell me that's how 14y olds behave, killing changes you and he isn't thinking strait. Sure I could agree that he is hormonally challenged but when it comes to a pretty face he always mellows out out, why? Cuz s*x, that's why.
The rest is pretty nice minus the bog standart cultivation novel plot armor. He finds this plant that ravages his body and making it more powerful but giving him structural damage that would cause problems later. Oh look the nearby pond has just the thing... (Dripping with sarcasm)... What a coincidence.
