For years, Rubi Genovese "Rue" believed she was just another pure-blooded vampire—strong, ruthless, and unshackled by fate. But when a long-buried truth resurfaces, everything she thought she knew shatters.

Hunted by vengeful spirits, haunted by the lover she lost, and pursued by an unseen enemy who has been pulling the strings from the shadows, Rue is forced to return to the palace—her father’s domain, a place she once called home. But safety is an illusion, and the deeper she digs, the more twisted the truth becomes.

As old enemies resurface and dark forces tighten their grip, Rue must unravel the secrets written in her blood. Because the truth isn’t just dangerous.

It’s deadly.

One would continue reading this story just for its comedic flow. There is no big OP fights or action. The great grandma arrives like a genie which makes you expect she'll be a great master, but sadly she's just a disappointing and annoying bug to the MC.

It feels like some important informations about it are still hidden, living us "starving" for them. I do not know if this is intentional or not but it add some "addictive" sensation, keeping me hoocked to the world in general.Character wise, I don’t really know how to rate them, because I read so many books, that nothing feel new apart from mentally unstable characters (and I don’t know how to feel about that) but I will give it a plus because the author is working hard to give them feel "human
