Shinji, a once humble bus driver, finds himself entangled in the complex web of a wealthy family when he marries Aiko, the daughter of the prestigious Sugimoto family, to help her escape an arranged marriage. Faced with the disapproval and cruelty of Aiko’s mother, Shinji’s world spirals when a hired hit on him results in his brother’s tragic death.
