Lin Nanqiao and Xia Linshi are two modern women who, after being struck by a car, transmigrate into the bodies of minor female supporting characters in a romance novel titled Sister-in-Law, Open the Door, I’m Your Brother. In the original story, both women are married into the wealthy Ji family to twin brothers, Ji Chi and Ji Yu.
