She releases the Prince, who leaves in anger but spares the manor for the moment. The Fifth Prince, Zhou Yuhuai, then arrives to confront Jiang Yanqing regarding Shen Ruoyou. Jiang Yanqing physically dominates the Prince, questioning his lineage and refusing to kneel, further destabilizing the political dynamics surrounding the marquisate. The story concludes with Jiang Yanqing firmly entrenched in the Pingyuan Houfu, having dismantled the initial power structures and setting the stage for a larger confrontation with the imperial family and the Shen household.
