Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy - Reviews

1. The writing is all done in the present tense for some odd reason, and is not very good.
2. The story is slow. You could read 40 chapters, and only a few days has passed.

The story so far (140 chapters in) focuses on the MC in the academy. It is a powerful contender to Harry Potter, I would say, in terms of hour it grabs your interest in the lore.

But, the slowness and the dragging of events as well as the bad writing plays to its detriment. It feels the MC won’t finish year 1 of school until we hit chapter 900.

I love this novel, it is a great read. However I would like to offer some feedback. It is a bit too slow almost 80 chapters and we still haven't seen much yet and almost no fights. I like the MC and the story but in my opinion you should speed up the plot a bit you don't have to do anything drastic but simply increase the speed a bit. Hope this helps❤

I like the story so far. Great job mr. author.
The only thing I don’t like is the MC character being inconsistent. Sometimes he is determined and acts like a normal grownup, sometimes he acts like a child being dragged by the nose by others.

The writing quality drops drastically as the story continues. The worst part is probably the storytelling voice or the writing style shifts in a poor direction. Instead of using descriptions to tell the story, it shifts to a bad narration. The author starts telling you how you should feel rather than using their writing to allow you to arrive at the conclusion they are looking for. It’s a very lazy writing style in my opinion.

The side characters become less and less relevant as the story progresses and their development nearly stops entirely. The worst part is the author continues to jam them in your face. This makes the story a boring slog of irrelevance that you continue to read only due to sunk cost, having paid for earlier chapters.

I really find this novel refreshing to read, in both its quality in character development and plot so far. Author, i really hope you can keep writing and developing this novel, you're already doing a great job so far!! ?

i dropped this novel after mc and the tower spirit escaped. bcs of free trial i thought to give it another try but still this is disappointment . story loose with full of plot holes and stupidest mc any author could create . I don't understand how after getting this much feedback from many readers, the author still refused to develop the character of mc.

Really hope this isn’t a harem, it’s not a harem right??
