Minerva and I… we went way back. We lived close to each since we transferred to this city. It would be no exaggeration to state that we'd been walking to school together since elementary school. You hear about the mythical childhood friend stereotype in shows and books, but we really were that way. If you'd bother to tally the times we spent together, it would probably be more than the times we weren't. If you thought about it, it's actually strange. Stereotypes are called stereotypes because they don't exist for real.

I don't read a lot of books here, but this one reminds me of ones I do like. It has a darker tone to what I usually rear, but the interest it is creating in the schemes is something that I want to read more about.
