1929 - 1933, a period of time where a man could only dream for a single dollar, James lives in a life or death world. Being alone is considered both the best and worst choice to make. With one side needing to have someone anyone to talk to: the other hating themselves if his friend moves on or betrays him for selfish reasons. Everybody is scared of each other. Is it alright for him to have a companion, or will the story end in tears?
