A key turning point occurs during the Inheritance Ground trial within the secret realm. The first stage involves dodging illusory vines. Ming Jia is injured protecting Jun Mo Yao, discovering that the vines have both real and false forms. Jun Mo Yao, knowing the solution from her past life, hesitates to reveal her foreknowledge but ultimately helps clear the path. In the second stage, a puzzle competition, both assume they are competing against each other. Upon reaching the flower, Ming Jia pushes Jun Mo Yao forward, telling her to go while she holds off the remaining competitors and a ferocious beast. Jun Mo Yao runs toward the flower, conflicted by Ming Jia’s selflessness. She realizes that Ming Jia’s care is genuine, unlike the manipulative warmth she experienced in her previous life. The narrative sets the stage for Jun Mo Yao to navigate her revenge while grappling with her evolving relationship with her master, who continues to act unpredictably but with underlying strength and protection.
