Tian Le is a researcher from a future interstellar era who specializes in studying the ancient Earth's history. After reading a certified research report on the beginning and end of the Apocalypse Era, he falls asleep and transmigrates into the body of a twenty-five-year-old assistant named Tian Le. This body belongs to an employee of Ji Corporation, a major conglomerate led by the powerful executive Ji Heng. Upon waking, Tian Le discovers he is in ancient Earth on February 22, 2222, the exact day the apocalypse begins. He is accompanied by Tutu, an optical brain device that malfunctioned and traveled with him. Tutu attempts to contact the Transmigration Alliance but fails due to signal incompatibility, leaving Tian Le stranded in a world on the brink of collapse.

The apocalypse arrives with catastrophic speed. Global weather patterns have been erratic for months, and on this day, the sky turns crimson as zombies emerge from the chaos. People bitten by the infected turn into mindless monsters within moments. Ji Heng, the president of Ji Corporation, had already anticipated disaster and prepared supplies. That same night, a fossil egg Ji Heng had purchased as a gift for his grandfather hatches. A baby emerges, claiming Ji Heng as its father and naming itself Ji Tianyi. The infant speaks and displays immense energy, forcing Ji Heng to accept the strange child. With no other options, Ji Heng calls his assistant Tian Le to help care for the baby, unaware that Tian Le is actually a transmigrator with knowledge of the coming events.

As the world descends into hell, Ji Heng gathers his trusted bodyguards and reveals the truth about the apocalypse. He offers them a choice: stay and follow him, or leave with supplies and money. Those who remain are his most loyal subordinates, including Lu Jingze, Cai Yan, and others. That night, Ji Heng, Tian Le, and the bodyguards all undergo a painful transformation, awakening supernatural abilities. Ji Heng gains a powerful lightning-type ability, while Tian Le awakens a spatial-type ability that allows him to store objects in a pocket dimension. Ji Tianyi also awakens, displaying an overwhelmingly powerful fire ability linked to ancient phoenix energy.

On the second day of the apocalypse, the group prepares to leave the city. Tian Le uses his spatial ability to store their luggage and supplies, while Ji Heng leads the team through streets filled with zombies and ruined vehicles. They discover that zombies are vulnerable to headshots and learn to coordinate their new abilities in combat. The group faces numerous dangers, including traffic jams caused by abandoned cars and hordes of the infected. They eventually reach a hotel to rest before continuing their journey to the Ji Family headquarters in B City.

During their travels, the dynamics between the characters shift. Tian Le proves to be an excellent caregiver for Ji Tianyi, earning the trust of both the baby and Ji Heng. Ji Heng, initially stern and distant, begins to rely on Tian Le’s expertise and knowledge of the apocalypse. The group collects supplies from Ji Corporation warehouses, with Tian Le storing vast amounts of food, water, and weapons in his spatial dimension. As they grow stronger and more cohesive, they prepare for the long and dangerous journey ahead, facing the harsh realities of a world where the weak perish and only the strong survive.
