Lin Shengsheng, the chief geneticist of the A-7 Sanctuary in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by the Gray Decay Virus, is transported to a savage Beastman world after sacrificing herself to protect a vital biological sample. She awakens in the body of a frail female from the Snow Rabbit tribe, a group that discards those unable to transform into their beast forms. Labeled a defective product, she is dragged by hyena beastmen to be sacrificed to the Mountain God to appease divine wrath during a severe drought. Beside her is Liya, a beautiful Red Fox female who feigns sorrow while secretly rejoicing at the prospect of eliminating her only rival for the attention of the tribe's males.
The procession leads to a massive black altar where the Mountain God is revealed to be a colossal snow-white tiger named Yuan. The beast is on the verge of madness, its body covered in writhing black curse markings known as the Decay Curse. The tribe believes the tiger is a deity requiring a pure offering, but Lin Shengsheng recognizes the creature as a ticking bomb about to fall into the Cursefallen state, which would destroy them all. As she is shoved onto the altar, Lin Shengsheng activates her transmigration gift, [Life Purification], a power derived from her expertise in combating the Gray Decay Virus. She channels this energy into her hand, emitting a green glow that purges the curse from Yuan’s forehead.
The relief silences the tiger’s agony, causing the apex predator to purr—a sound that shocks the onlookers into terrified submission. When the tribe’s greed overrides their fear and they attempt to seize Lin Shengsheng, Yuan roars with such oppressive force that he kills two attackers instantly. He then claims Lin Shengsheng as his own, carrying her back to his den in his jaws. Inside the cave, Yuan offers her a raw, bloody antelope carcass. Disgusted by the primitive presentation, Lin Shengsheng attempts to start a fire to cook the meat, but her weak body fails her. Yuan, annoyed by her tears, uses his razor-sharp claws to strike sparks against the cave wall, igniting the dry grass she had gathered.
The aroma of roasted meat, seasoned with salt crystal grass, captivates Yuan, who devours the entire antelope with voracious appetite. After the meal, Lin Shengsheng collapses from exhaustion. As she touches Yuan’s paw, she discovers a symbiotic energy exchange: her [Life Purification] suppresses his curse, while his potent Ancient White Tiger bloodline replenishes her depleted vitality. Realizing he is her source of survival, she begins to adapt to her new life. She cleans the filthy cave, discarding Yuan’s stored rotting bones, which angers the tiger. The story establishes a fragile alliance between the scientist and the beast, where she must navigate his primal instincts while utilizing her unique abilities to survive in a hostile world.
